We require full payment for your workshop day or workshop with post-processing session at the time of booking. You’ll receive an order confirmation automatically and once we’ve verified your booking you’ll receive an order completion email along with a booking confirmation email with details of where and when we meet at the start of the workshop. Please allow up to three working days for your booking confirmation to arrive (though normally it should be much quicker).
If you can’t make it
If you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason then we offer refunds as follows:
Cancellation 45 days prior to the trip – full refund, less any fees which are unrecoverable from PayPal
Cancellation 30 days prior to the trip – half-refunded
Cancellation 15 days prior to the trip – quarter-refunded
Any bookings cancelled 14 or less days prior to the tour date cannot be refunded. We recommend that you have travel insurance should you be unable to attend the workshop at the last minute.
If we have to cancel
If it is necessary for us to cancel a workshop for any reason (including due to restrictions placed on us by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic) then we’ll offer you the chance to transfer your booking to any future workshop date of your choice. If you’re unable to make any of the future dates then we’ll issue a full refund.
If you intend to come on a future workshop but aren’t sure when we’ll happily hold your booking until you decide. Please do transfer to an alternate date if you can, rather than asking for a refund and rebooking in the future, as we would lose the non-refundable PayPal fees in that case.
If you have a workshop gift voucher we’ll extend the validity of the voucher should this be necessary due to cancellations we have made, so that you still have a full year’s workshops available to choose from.
Refunds can only be made using our payment processor, PayPal. PayPal only supports automated refunds within 180 days of booking. If you request a refund after 180 days we’ll send this by PayPal to the email address you used when making the booking as this is the only payment information we have available to us. You may need a PayPal account to access your refund in this case.
You participate in a Natural Light Photography Workshop at your own risk. We have carried out risk assessments on our walking routes and give a safety briefing in our workshop introduction and will point out hazards during the workshop, but you are responsible for your own health and safety throughout the workshop.
Natural Light Photography Workshops are in no way responsible for your own camera equipment and insurance cover for cancellation, curtailment and personal effects, including your camera equipment is strongly recommended.
